A Fairytale Festive Season at The Langham, London
Rather than making the journey home, guests can treat themselves to a luxurious guestroom and sleep soundly in the Langham Blissful Bed and awake to a traditional English breakfast. Festive Break packages are priced from £280 per night based on two people sharing.
Palm Court is famed as the birthplace of the afternoon tea tradition. UK Pastry Chef of the Year Cherish Finden miracles up a celebratory Festive Afternoon Tea with sittings at 1.00pm and 3.15pm. Indulgent finger sandwiches include crayfish and fennel with dill and mustard and also smoked Scottish salmon with cucumber and horseradish. Warm plain and golden raisin scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and strawberry preserve follow and then an array of pastry delicacies including a mandarin orange dome with golden star. Festive Afternoon Tea is priced at £43 per person. Be sure to bring a camera to capture Cherish’s annual stunning surprise pastry masterpiece adorning the room.
Recipient of ‘World’s Best Bar’ accolade, Artesian, the chic and glamorous bar designed by the late David Collins, is the perfect rendezvous for a festive libation. Multi-award winning Head Mixologist Alex Kratena conjures up classic and imaginative cocktails including a unique festive offering ‘Winterfall’. Its beautiful deep red colour combines Becherovka (a herbal liqueur) with chocolate essence to get your evening off to a swing or the perfect night-cap to toast a memorable evening. ‘Winterfall’ is priced at £16.50.
