We’re Dreaming of a Costa Coffee Christmas as New Food and Drinks Menu Is Revealed

The Nation’s Favourite Coffee Shop*, Costa Coffee, is stepping into Christmas by announcing its tree-mendous limited-edition festive food and drinks range. It’s bound to be love at frost sight, with fan favourites making a triumphant return, along with some delicious new festive surprises. A latte love has gone into creating the new menu which will be available across Costa Coffee stores and Costa Express self-serve machines from 3 November.

 Ding dong, there’s a new duo in town

For the first time, Costa Coffee is showcasing two brand new stars as part of its festive drinks menu, bringing a Latte inspired by Toblerone®. This true classic has been given a festive makeover thanks to the addition of indulgent chocolate and honey-flavour sauce that’s inspired by the iconic Toblerone® taste. It is topped with a light dairy swirl and a festive twinkle topper. And for that extra bit of seasonal magic, it also comes with a wrapped Toblerone® tiny bar to enjoy on the side.

 To make your Christmas a chocolatey one, why not try the new Hot Chocolate inspired by Toblerone®? This fan-favourite has an exclusive twist, as sweet Hot Chocolate powder has been carefully blended with the bespoke chocolate and honey-flavour sauce that is inspired by the iconic Toblerone® taste. It is finished with a light dairy swirl and a festive twinkle topper and has a moreish side addition of a wrapped Toblerone® tiny bar.

 Just like Santa Claus wouldn’t work without his trusty elves, why not pair one of the new drinks inspired by Toblerone® with the new Chocolate Muffin inspired by Toblerone®? This luxury chocolate muffin is packed with milk chocolate chunks and chopped almonds, filled with a velvety chocolate sauce, topped with chocolate icing and finished with a Toblerone® tiny bar.

 And fans of Costa Coffee’s Gingerbread & Cream Latte and Terry’s Chocolate Orange® Hot Chocolate rejoice as these delicious favourites return to the Christmas line-up. You can even complement it perfectly with the returning Terry’s Chocolate Orange® Muffin, filled with chocolate orange sauce and topped with icing and a delicious segment of the iconic Terry’s Chocolate Orange®.

 Christmas on the go with Costa Express 

Spreading even more festive cheer, Costa Express has a range of new self-serve drinks that are perfect to enjoy on a crisp wintery walk. Available from over 12,000 Costa Express machines nationwide, why not try the new Latte inspired by Toblerone® or the new Hot Chocolate inspired by Toblerone®. Both drinks feature the delectable chocolate and honey-flavour sauce that’s inspired by the iconic Toblerone® taste.

 Costa Coffee at home this winter

Costa Coffee has also added new additions to its award-winning** at-home products. Available from mid-November in Tesco stores exclusively, say hello to the new Millionaire’s Mocha mixer, Salted Caramel Latte mixer and Creamy Cappuccino mixer. Easy to make, these scrumptious products are made using Costa Coffee’s delicious coffee beans.

 And can you catch the gingerbread can? Gingerbread fans will be able to get their fix once again this season, as Costa Coffee’s limited-edition Gingerbread Latte coffee in a can is back. Available to purchase across Costa Coffee stores and selected retailers, this ready-to-drink coffee features sweet and delicate spicy notes of gingerbread for that unmistakable seasonal flavour.

 Season’s ‘eatings’

Christmas at Costa Coffee is not complete without a range of delicious new toasties and paninis and those looking for traditional festive flair can choose from the new vegetarian Brie & Cranberry Toastie, filled with creamy brie slices and sweet cranberry sauce to complement. Also making its debut is the new Maple Bacon Mac & Cheese, featuring creamy macaroni and cheese with fresh spinach, topped with maple cured bacon and sprinkled with a parsley crumb.

Vegans, vegetarians, and flexitarians this is for you; the new Vegan P’gs & Blankets Panini has been beautifully created with plant-based sausages and bacon, sage and onion stuffing, sweet cranberry sauce, vegan mayonnaise and cheeZe, enclosed within a stone-baked sourdough panini.

And back by popular demand, we have the returning Turkey & The Trimmings Toastie, Pigs & Blankets Panini, Brie, Bacon & Cranberry Panini, and the Turkey Feast Sandwich.

Everyone knows the festive season officially starts with a bite of the iconic M&S Turkey Feast Sandwich. Now, as part of its exciting collaboration with M&S Food, lucky Costa Coffee customers can also start the Christmas countdown with the original Turkey Feast, plus a whole host of other festive M&S lunchtime options. Launching on 2 November, the range is available in selected Costa Coffee stores, Drive Thrus or via Click & Collect. So, whether tucking into a work-from-home lunch, grabbing a bite for the train or driving home for the festive season, customers can have a bite of M&S Christmas magic wherever they are.

 The classic Turkey Feast is packed with succulent British turkey breast, pork, sage and onion stuffing, onion mayonnaise and cranberry chutney and with smoked British bacon on malted brown bread. What’s more, the seriously tasty vegan Plant Kitchen No Turkey Feast Sandwich is also sure to be a festive fave, made from roasted wheat and pea protein, vegan dressing with bacon flavour, cranberry chutney, spinach and fried onions on malted brown bread. Plus, there’s also a new addition, the epic Turkey Ham Hock Toastie, featuring British turkey breast with herb gravy, ham hock, pork, sage and onion stuffing, cranberry chutney and Emmental cheese on sourdough bread.

Treats even Santa would approve of!

Chocolate is a staple at Christmas so why not dabble in a slice of the new Loaded Chocolate & Hazelnut Cake, new White Chocolate Trillionaire’s Slice, or new Crispy Festive Wreath?

Costa Coffee’s iconic Christmas character cups are back 

This year’s highly anticipated Christmas takeaway cup range adds festive fun to the already iconic red takeaway cup. Available in UK stores and Costa Express machines nationwide when purchasing a hot drink, they feature characters including Ginger the gingerbread person (12oz), Snowy the snowman (16oz) and Bear, the happy-go-lucky brown bear (20oz). They can all be seen holding gifts to represent the joy of sharing this festive season.

 Feel good festive value

Members of Costa Coffee’s free Costa Club rewards scheme continue to receive a free drink after any four hot or cold handcrafted drinks have been purchased using any reusable cup. Or a free drink after any eight purchased without a reusable. Members also receive a free sweet treat for their birthday. In addition, £1 and £2 breakfast deals are available every day from 5am until 11am***.

 And Costa Coffee continues its ongoing partnership with anti-food waste app, Too Good To Go, which allows people to buy and collect unsold Costa Coffee food at a discounted price of £3 from Costa Coffee stores, while also preventing food from going to waste.
