SEAT MÓ Takes An International Leap And Speeds-up The Launch In The European Markets
- SEAT’s first 100% electric scooter arrives in Italy, France, Germany, Austria, Sweden and Greece
- The SEAT MÓ dealer network in Spain enlarged to 70 dealers
- SEAT MÓ speeding-up the expansion plan to improve life quality in the cities thanks to the 100% electric vehicles, without noise, without pollution.
SEAT MÓ, SEAT’s business unit dedicated to urban mobility, is steadily pursuing its internationalisation plan to contribute improving the life quality in the cities, thanks to micromobility vehicles, 100% electric, without noise and without pollution. The SEAT MÓ eScooter 125 electric motorbike, which is now available at most of SEAT dealerships in Spain, has begun its expansion in the main European markets.
SEAT MÓ took the international leap in April, landing in Italy with its eScooter SEAT MÓ 125. During May and June, this expansion will be extended to key countries for the company such as France, Germany, Austria and Sweden. SEAT MÓ will also reach Greece during next month, where the business unit will also contribute micromobility solutions to the Volkswagen Group’s international project to turn the Greek island of Astypalea into a decarbonised, sustainable, electric, smart transport island.
According to SEAT MÓ Director Lucas Casasnovas, “the international expansion of SEAT MÓ is a clear demonstration of our ambition to make cities more sustainable, cleaner and noise-free. In Spain alone we’ve expanded the number of SEAT MÓ points of sale to more than 70 and from now on, we’ll also do the same in key European markets for the company, a move that will contribute to 100% electric and sustainable urban mobility.”
From Barcelona to Europe
Barcelona is SEAT MÓ’s test laboratory, where all the solutions that will now also reach the main European cities are designed. The SEAT MÓ sales and after-sales network in Spain has already expanded to more than 70 specific points of sale since 1 April, located at official SEAT dealerships. In this way, customers are offered the brand’s guarantee in both the commercial and maintenance processes of SEAT MÓ products: the eScooter 125, as well as the SEAT MÓ eKickscooter 25 and eKickscooter 65.
Expanding the subscription service
SEAT MÓ also started the year with a new flexible subscription model for its electric scooter, at a cost of 70 euros per week or 150 euros per month. Following the success of the pilot test carried out in the centre of Barcelona, the company decided to extend this service to the entire metropolitan area of the city for those customers who are considering buying an electric motorbike but want to try it out first.
