Sales launch for the business avant-garde: the new EQE from Mercedes-EQ and Mercedes-AMG

new EQE

With the EQE 350+ (WLTP: combined electrical consumption: 18.7‑15.9 kWh/100 km, combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/100 km)[1] and the Mercedes‑AMG EQE 43 4MATIC (WLTP: combined electrical consumption: 22.5‑19.7 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km)1, prospective buyers can now order the first two EQE models. Prices start at 70,626.50 and 103,827.50 euros, respectively[2]. The Mercedes‑Benz Bank offers attractive financing and leasing terms for both private and business customers. Vehicle insurance coverage including electric protection[3] can be purchased online. Special services such as all-risk coverage for the battery are incorporated, and the charging cable is also insured. The telematics insurance InScore is particularly interesting. With this, up to 30 percent of the premium can be saved through your own driving behaviour.

The EQE sporty business Saloon offers all the essential functions of the EQS in a slightly more compact format. At market launch, the range initially comprises two variants: the EQE 350+ rated at 215 kW and the EQE 43 4MATIC at 350 kW as an introduction to electric Driving Performance from Mercedes‑AMG.

The EQE 350+ already features the Electric Art interior. High-quality materials such as leather and nappa leather are optionally available for seat upholstery. The ambient lighting and also the backlit trim element with a Mercedes‑Benz pattern create a futuristic lounge ambience. In addition, the sporty character of the EQE 350+ can be emphasised with the AMG Line exterior and AMG Line interior. The Electric Art exterior, on the other hand, creates expressive, elegant design highlights.

Not only does the EQE have the genes of the EQS in its powerful and efficient drive system, but also in its other technical innovations and exceptional comfort details. Key optional features include rear-axle steering – available in two versions with steering angles of up to 4.5 degrees and up to 10 degrees – plus DIGITAL LIGHT headlamp technology. With the four practical equipment packages Advanced, Advanced Plus, Premium, and Premium Plus, as well as the appropriately pre-configured EQE 350+, prospective buyers will be able to find their dream car even more quickly and easily.

The youngest representative of the Future of Driving Performance: the Mercedes‑AMG EQE 43 4MATIC

AMG-specific solutions, particularly in the areas of drive system, chassis, brakes, sound, exterior and interior design as well as equipment, guarantee a dynamic and emotional AMG driving experience in the EQE 43 4MATIC. This model is equipped with rear-axle steering as standard. The steering angle of up to 3.6 degrees promotes agile handling. The DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps, which also come as standard, feature a specific AMG projection when opening and closing the vehicle.

The driving characteristics can be changed by the driver at the touch of a button to suit the respective situation or their own preferences. The AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs cover a broad spectrum: from high comfort to pronounced sportiness. Important parameters such as drive and performance characteristics, suspension settings, AMG DYNAMICS with, among other things, steering torque characteristics and AMG SOUND EXPERIENCE, are included in the selected drive program accordingly. The maximum drive power can be called up in Sport+ mode or in all programs via kick-down.

Numerous AMG options enhance the dynamic impression if required. These include design features such as the AMG Night Package with elements in black and black chrome, red brake callipers, or the AMG carbon-fibre trim elements. The high‑performance electric Saloon can also be further refined in terms of driving dynamics, for example with the AMG ceramic high‑performance composite brake system. There is also a choice of aerodynamically optimised 20- and 21‑inch AMG light‑alloy wheels.

In addition, the EQE 43 4MATIC can be optionally equipped with the innovative MBUX Hyperscreen. Its large, curved screen unit extends from A‑pillar to A‑pillar.
