In 2023, many big tech exhibitions took place around the world, including Black Hat USA, MWC Las Vegas, IFA Berlin, and Viva Technology.

1. IFA Berlin 2023
IFA is the world’s largest consumer electronics trade show. In 2023, the IFA event was held in Berlin, Germany. From the 2nd Sept to the 6th Sept, more than 180,000 people attended IFA Berlin. Representatives from over 2,000 leading companies introduced their latest tech products and innovations.
- Samsung: This tech giant had an expansive exhibition booth to display its products. Samsung introduced the new BESPOKE AI™ Washer and Dryer Combo with Digital Inverter Heat Pump technology.
- Haier: At their booth, Haier shared their vision with the concept “Connect to Extraordinary.” They displayed innovative solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, smart homes, IoT, and more.
- Panasonic: Panasonic’s exhibition displayed TVs and home AV products such as wearable gaming speakers: SC-GNW10 and SC-GN01, and gaming speaker SC-HTB01. They also displayed Panasonic Inverter Combi Microwave Oven and MULTISHAPE – a modular personal care system.
- Lenovo: At IFA Berlin 2023, Lenovo introduced a Legion 9i (16″ Intel) gaming laptop.
- LG: On the LG exhibition booth, the brand displayed LG Smart Cottage, LG Net-Zero Vision House, and LG Upcycling Workshop at IFA Berlin 2023. They also introduced the OLED evo G3 TV and mini TVs.
The event also saw the likes of Liebherr, Miele, and Siemens brands in attendance, among other tech companies.
2. Viva Technology 2023
Viva Technology is Europe’s leading startup and tech event that was held from June 14th to 17th, 2023, in Paris, France. Over 150,000 people from 174 countries visited and 2,800 exhibitors from the biggest tech companies hosted this event in 2023.
During this Viva Tech event, exhibitors generated up to 25% of annual leads. Furthermore, over 11,700 startups got a chance to learn from the experts.
- AWS/Amazon: Amazon/AWS presented Desktop as a Service (DaaS) for growing businesses at their exhibition booth at Viva Technology 2023.
- ENGIE: At Viva Technology 2023, ENGIE presented a lot of innovations. Some of them are The Drone and Robot Lab – Lab CRIGEN, CarbonClear, BillionBricks, Smatch, MX3D, and Flexisun.
- Red Hat: Red Hat displayed three products: Red Hat Ansible, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
- IBM: At their exhibition displays, IBM announced IBM Watson Code Assistant for Z, a new generative AI-assisted product that will rapidly translate COBOL to Java on IBM Z. Alongside, they also introduced the cloud migration acceleration program with IBM Power Virtual Server and beta for the newest Intel® Xeon processors.
- Arianee: Arianee introduced a digital passport product to the global audience at their booth.

3. MWC Barcelona 2023
MWC Barcelona which is also commonly known as Mobile World Congress was held in Barcelona, Spain from February 27th to March 2nd, 2023. Organized by GMSA, MWC Barcelona is the world’s largest and most well-known annually held event and conference.
Many global mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, and vendors attended this MWC Barcelona 2023 event. In 2023, over 2,400 exhibitors, sponsors, and partners displayed products, technologies, and keynote speeches to more than 55,000 attendees from 202 countries.
- ALTOO HAPS: ALTOO HAPS displayed Zephyr which is the cutting-edge High Altitude Platform Station (HAPS). Zephyr provides direct-to-device connectivity and offers high-quality earth observation services.
- NTT Ltd.: NNT is a well-known IT infrastructure and services company. They introduced private 5G, IoT for Edge as a Service, secure operational technology, and IoT connectivity.
- D-Link Corporation: At their stand, D-Link introduced two products: 5G O-RAN Solution and Industrial Ethernet Solution.
- Orange: The world’s leading telecommunications operator, Orange displayed 5G XR digital twin robot control, IoT continuum, a positive impact solution with tiko, Home energy efficiency, Orange 5G Lab with Touch2See, and Infrastructure for smart industry. They also displayed 5G and Metaverse, Immersive run, Tanks hacking process, Orange 5G Lab with Gany, and API networks generation.
- Anritsu: At their stand, Anritsu introduced Interference Hunting with the Field Master™ MS2080A, a Test Solution for Type-2 Automated Valet Parking, Metaverse Simulation Environment, and Open RAN test solutions.
At MWC Barcelona 2023, many other tech companies attended the event, such as 3Teh, Pulsus, Dell Technologies, CISCO, and Aethertek Technology.
4. Black Hat USA 2023
Black Hat is one of the biggest cybersecurity conferences and training programs. At Black Hat USA 2023, big brains from around the world provided security consultations, briefings, and training sessions to over 22,750 attendees from August 5 to 10, 2023, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
- Darktrace: At their booth, Darktrace leaders and technical experts discussed with attendees their current security priorities, attack surface management, email and cloud security, and technical integrations.
- IBM Security: The Head of Research for IBM Security X-Force, John Dwyer featured more than 100 selected briefings, networking, lots of open-source tool demos in Arsenal, a strong Business Hall, and social events.
- Blackberry: BlackBerry displayed BlackBerry’s Cylance® predictive AI engine in action to attendees. This technology blocks zero-days, ransomware, and other cyberattacks. Also, BlackBerry’s CylanceENDPOINT offers protection against advanced threats.
- Microsoft Security: Microsoft Security covered cloud security and threat protection products, which included Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Defender for IoT, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Security Copilot, Microsoft 365 Defender, and Azure Network Security. Furthermore, threat intelligence includes Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence and Microsoft Entra.
- KnowBe4: KnowBe4’s Chief Research and Strategy Officer Perry Carpenter featured the top 10 security awareness failures, useful guidance on how to avoid pitfalls and dangers, and insightful data from internal research of over 30 million trainees.
At Black Hat 2023, attendees explored many other big tech companies, including KnowBe4, SentinelOne, AT&T Cybersecurity, and Cloudflare.
