 With an upper inspired by the Nike Internationalist (check the eyestay and heel clip) and Nike React technology underfoot, the Nike React Element 55 carries an understated stance and delivers a smooth ride.

While those traits remain consistent, the shoe’s aesthetic can now be distorted with customization opportunities through Nike By You, which allows for a choice of experimental materials and trims. These are augmented by a bold color palette that takes hazmat and firefighting suits as inspiration on a breathable open leno woven mesh upper.

Additionally, new colorways of the Nike React Element 55 are on the horizon (including color-shifting Black/Black-Laser Fuschsia-White and Black/Black-Tour Yellow-White uppers, as well as a clean, white-based trio with hits of University Red, Game Royal or Pure Platinum) .
