Nike and Hyperice have joined forces to take warming-up and recovery to an entirely new level.

Nike and Hyperice, two companies renowned for their athletic innovation, have collaborated to design wearable technology to help athletes perform optimally during both training and competition – the Nike x Hyperice boots and vest are designed specifically to help achieve this aim.

“Recovery is an important part of any athlete’s journey, but we’re hearing from athletes that this concept of ‘pre-covery’ is equally as important,” says Tobie Hatfield, Senior Director, Nike Athlete Innovation. “The footwear and vest that we’ve developed with Hyperice help get the body ready for activity, whether you’re playing for a title or you’re on your feet a lot at work.”

The Nike x Hyperice boot is an affordable high-top shoe designed to provide athletes with heat therapy and dynamic air-compression massage on demand for their feet and ankles.

This shoe incorporates dual Normatec bladders bonded to warming elements to evenly disperse heat throughout its upper, creating an effect designed to drive deep heat deep into muscle and tissue of both feet and ankles, helping athletes move, perform, recover more naturally faster – in fact athlete testers reported feeling freer and lighter after wearing their test pair than before actually beginning their usual workout routines!

Athleticians can synchronize heat and compression of both shoes by simply pressing one button, or choose from among three distinct levels of compression and heat powered by battery packs in each shoe’s insole.

The Nike x Hyperice vest allows athletes to control one variable that previously couldn’t: their environment. Utilizing similar technology found in Hyperice X contrast devices, thermoelectric coolers offer instant heating and cooling without needing liquid cooling agents for temperature regulation – helping athletes easily set body temperatures during warm-ups or cool-downs to their exact specifications for peak performance.

Vests equipped with thermal modules whose sensors monitor and regulate body temperature can also act as pressure sensors to adjust them for comfort while increasing effectiveness of heating/cooling technology. The vest contains thermal modules whose sensors autonomously measure, maintain, and regulate them according to body needs; simultaneously an air bladder/pressure sensor adjusts itself according to body shape by pressing these modules against one’s body – both features providing increased warmth while increasing effectiveness of heating/cooling technologies.
