List of Holidays In Qatar 2017
Qatar recognizes several official public holidays including New Year’s Day; National Sports Day; Qatar National Day; Islamic New Year; Eid ul-Fitr, commemorating the end of Ramadan and Eid ul-Adha, celebrating Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son, a holiday lasting three days. The country also recognizes regional observances, which are not typically deemed public holidays.
