List of Holidays in Japan 2017
In 2015, employees in Japan are entitled to 15 national public holidays. Mountain Day (11 August) will be addedas the 16th national holiday in 2016. According to the amendment made in the Public Holiday Law, this new holiday is intended to strengthen the appreciation of mountains in Japan.
