List of Holidays In Albania 2017
The laws of Albania provide for a 40 hour work week running from Monday through Friday. According to Law No 7961, the standard work day is an eight hour day. The minimum time between work days is 11 hours. There are minimum wages set by government but parties are free to make labour agreements which set the terms of employment. The government establishes national holidays; red-letter days are paid holidays under Albanian law.
