H&M opens its first store in Peru
H&M, Hennes & Mauritz AB (H&M), the international fashion brand known for offering fashion and quality at the best price, finally arrived in Perú. At 11am today, more than 2000 H&M fans queued up to enter the store at the Jockey Plaza mall. H&M’s flagship store at Jockey Plaza mall is one of the brand’s biggest stores globally. It has three floors as well as all fashion concepts the Brand offers, including H&M HOME
Karl-Johan Persson, CEO of H&M, cut the red ribbon and welcomed the first customers in line together with Perú’s Country Manager, Macu Alfaro and Store Manager, Juan Pablo Delgado.
The first three people in line received gift cards of S/. 700, S/.500 and S/.300 respectively, the next 299 in line received one of S/. 150 and the last 998 in line, a gift card of S/. 70 to shop in the store.
“We are very happy and thankful for the great response of our Peruvian customers, and at the same time very excited that our entrance in Perú has become a reality”, said Macu Alfaro, Country Manager of H&M in Perú.
The H&M store in Jockey Plaza mall offers a variety of fashion for women, men, kids and Home. It welcomed all fashion lovers with its Fall Fashion and Conscious Exclusive collections.
This 2015, H&M will continue its expansion plan with the opening of Macau, South Africa and India.
