Fox, Booker and Tatum Put Their Stamp on Classic Nike Silhouettes
Three NBA players are putting their spin on classic Nike silhouettes: a Nike Air Max 1 by De’Aaron Fox, a Nike Air Force 1 by Devin Booker and a Nike Air Max 97 by Jayson Tatum. Each of the shoes were crafted through collaborative sessions with Nike designers.
The Nike Air Max 1 by De’Aaron Fox channels Fox’s interest in astronomy and features common colors among the planets represented through different sections of the shoe. The sockliner has equations inspired by the field of astrodynamics. Fox’s nickname, “Swipa,” is printed on the heel and his jersey number is on an eclipse on the tongue logo.

With a distressed light-teal upper, the Nike Air Force 1 by Devin Booker reflects the guard’s love for vintage, worn-in shoes. The tongue tag includes references to elements of Booker’s childhood with nods to his birthday and Moss Point, Mississippi, the city of his high school career.
The Air Force 1 by Devin Booker releases June 6 at House of Hoops by Foot Locker and June 8 across the Foot Locker family of brands.
Illustrations on the upper of the Nike Air Max 97 by Jayson Tatum represent the forward’s Saint Louis roots, including graphics of the Gateway Arch (also referenced through the shoe’s metallic silver midsole), his 314 area code and more.
