Delta Teams Up with Missoni for Premium Delta One Experience

  • The collaboration features Missoni-designed amenity kits with signature patterns, luxurious bedding, and upgraded lounge decor, launching mid-July on Italy and Paris routes, expanding globally by September.

It is expected that the Delta One experience will soon become more distinctive thanks to an alliance the international airline has formed with Italian designer Missoni. The two companies Delta together with Missoni – an iconic brand that is known for its unique utilization of color and patterns can enhance Delta One with a new quality customer service kit as well as top of the line elements that will be woven into important touchpoints across your Delta One travel experience.

“We’ve been intentional about creating a Delta One experience–both on the ground and in the air–that feels truly premium and elevated, and Missoni’s elegance and prestige aligns perfectly with that vision,” added Mauricio Parise Vice President of Brand Experience Design. “The Missoni-designed amenity kits, along with unique design elements that will be featured in our Delta One Lounge at JFK, will offer a distinct, high-end enhancement to our most premium spaces.”

The brand new Delta One amenity kits will include Missoni’s trademark hand-painted zigzag patterns on the outside inside the bags. The same design is carried within the bag. Missoni as well as Delta teams came up with unique patterns and colors scheme which celebrates the view out of the window of 3000 feet, while paying tribute to Delta’s almost 100-year-old flying history.

Alongside the brand new designs, an assortment of Missoni’s house collection will also be on display inside the Delta One Lounge at New York JFK. It will officially begin on June 26.

“The Missoni amenity kits have been meticulously designed, embodying a timeless declaration of elegance and a profound connection with the surrounding world,” stated Alberto Caliri, Creative Director, Missoni. “Additionally, customizing the Delta One Lounge at JFK signifies an important new frontier for our lifestyle approach. We are delighted to partner with Delta on the Delta One experience.”

The amenity kits for the new year are expected to be offered in Delta One from the middle of July for every Delta flights that fly to or from Italy as well as Paris prior to launching globally in September. Delta Premium Select will continue to carry amenity kits developed for Someone Somewhere.

Within the kits, consumers will find grown Alchemist skincare products including a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste, a mask for the eyes with ear plugs as well as socks, and a pen. As well as the Missoni Amenity Kits, passengers who fly on Delta One will also enjoy the special Delta One Bedding collection featuring the most comfortable duvet, huge pillows for sleeping and slippers.

One of the most luxurious cabins on the skies, Delta One offers spacious flat seats with lie-flat beds, accessibility to Delta Sky Club and use of Sky Priority services — each of which is enhanced with luxurious touches that elevate your travel trip.
