BULGARI SHINES IN ASIA WITH TWO PRESTIGIOUS REOPENINGS
On January 15th and 17th Bulgari magnificently celebrated the re-openings of the two flagship stores in Shanghai, Plaza 66 and Hong Kong, Chater House.
In Shanghai, Bulgari feted the lavish revamp and the upcoming Chinese lunar year of snake with a Serpenti art installation lighting ceremony.
Actress Zhang Ziyi, the Ambassador of Bulgari “Save the Children” project, became the focus of the evening and lighted up the eye-catching glowing installation.
In Hong Kong, special guests Academy Award winning Hilary Swank and Adrien Brody, as well as Chinese superstar Donnie Yen, were greeted by Francesco Trapani, President of the LVMH Watch and Jewelry division and proceeded to another spectacular lighting ceremony which created stunning aurora-like waves across the entire boutique facade against the twilight of the evening.
One of the day’s highlights was an exclusive viewing of the Elizabeth Taylor private Bulgari collection, for the first time in Hong Kong. Also on display was Bulgari’s High Jewellery Collection: 60 new pieces were exhibited together with the Jade Serpenti, a one-of-a-kind necklace in white gold, finished with jade and diamonds, which was also making its international debut.
