Access Bank Mozambique Reaffirms Its Focus on Expansion, Loyalty and Institutional Reputation

Access Bank Mozambique

To achieve a fast-track, sustainable and significant growth, Access Bank Mozambique prioritizes essential processes and adjustments. The investment in service expansion, customer retention and a good institutional reputation are some of the main pillars to be mentioned.

It is with an enormous sense of responsibility that we actively respond to the desires and needs of more than 96 thousand customers, offering personalized and innovative solutions through a nationwide network of 11 branches in the main provinces of the country.

We are driven daily by the ambition to be the most respected African banking institution in the world, a dream whose realization lies entirely in the commitment and dedication of each of our employees, to whom we give credit and thank for standing behind Access Bank.

We believe that valuing human resources is, undoubtedly, the infallible way to be equipped with technical and behavioral skills to build good internal and external relationships.

In the context of expansion, we have consolidated our commitment to the communities where we operate and we have been asserting ourselves by launching innovative products and services that meet the needs of customers, such as financial inclusion and savings products and a wide range of international trading products, amongst others.

Reinforcing this commitment, we recently launched Access Africa, an international transfer platform that allows customers and non-customers of the Bank to send and receive money to and from all Access subsidiaries in the African continent.

Txuna-Mpesa and Prepaid Cards in foreign currency are another example of innovation, being the first in the Credit category, which allows customers to take out loans at Access Bank Mozambique and receive money instantly, through M-Pesa, without needing a Bank account; and the second is a rechargeable card that allows customers to purchase and pay for services and products in physical and virtual stores in different currencies (MZN, USD, GBP, ZAR and EURO), without exchange rate fluctuations.

Committed to always working with a focus on the permanent satisfaction of all our customers, partners and communities, in general we segment our social responsibility, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

We present ourselves as the Bank for Women and Youth, with various empowerment, education and training projects that, in recent years, have reached more and more people. We are also the Bank that looks at environmental sustainability as a current priority, promoting and implementing, also in this matter, guidelines and initiatives that meet the increasingly urgent climate concerns.

Our journey has been crowned with successes, and we have won several international awards as the best brand and in the areas of digital and services. Achievements that recognize the quality of services and commitment to innovation and the development of financial solutions, only possible thanks to our highly professional and committed teams.

We dedicate these distinctions to our employees and customers, and extend our warm thanks for being part of this process that makes Access Bank better and more solid, day after day, towards achieving the title of the most respected African bank in the world.
