Porsche Unveils 2025 911 Carrera GTS Hybrid
- Porsche unveiled the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS hybrid with a 12.6″ digital display and a 3.6-liter boxer engine.

Porsche unveiled their highly anticipated first hybrid car this morning, boasting an all-digital instrument cluster on a 12.6″ curved display incorporating CarPlay data more efficiently – though unfortunately without Apple’s forthcoming wireless CarPlay 2022.
Frank Weissman of German car manufacturer Porsche said their 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS hybrid car will feature features similar to its Cayenne, Panamera and electrified Macan systems according to The Verge. Additionally, its dashboard sports an 10.9-inch display for drive modes, driver assistance systems and instrument cluster screen display.

Additionally, Porsche’s Communication Management infotainment system streams videos that support Apple Music and Spotify Music when your car is parked.
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is powered by a newly developed 3.6-liter boxer engine and an innovative lithium-ion battery pack, similar in size and weight to traditional 12-volt batteries but which includes features that enable electric turbocharging and air conditioning compressor for improved fuel economy.
Porsche test drivers completed one lap around Germany’s Nurburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 17 seconds driving their hybrid variant, 8.7 seconds faster than in their 911 Carrera GTS variant. Nurburgring’s challenging layout demonstrated how agile handling remains even with batteries and electric motors installed into its chassis.
The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS debut marks 60 years of production of its predecessor model – originally introduced as an upgraded successor for Porsche 356, production started shortly thereafter.
Starting price for the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS hybrid starts around $165,000.
